Escape Robo
A new itch.io precision platformer just dropped! Choose to experience either the joy of the jump, or the frustration of the escape. The choice is yours.
Difficulty
Play on Min difficulty, and experience casuality! Play on Mid, and just get down to playing! Play on Max difficulty, and prepare to lose your banana pajamas!
Gameplay / Story
Pyramids move in an unchanging velocity, and blink their wonderful friend-eyes at you. Love! Keys reflect shine off your dumb robo-face. Self-deprecation! You spit robo-tones to philosophize in your ongoing praxic play-game. Existentialism! Is it just to feel better? That is the question. Or is the question whether you can escape? Can you escape? What is "the question?" Is there any meaning to asking what "the question" even is? Why do we ask questions? Find out in Escape Robo!
Bugs
"I'm shipping you with a few bugs." I said to this game, and also to Sebastian from the world-renowned butler anime. LOL. Jokes aside, there's probably a few, but I strangled, and choked all the ones I could find (except the moving-platform-visually-disconnecting-from-toes one, that stinky bugger, bane of all amateur code-meisters).
Sources / Licenses
Music source links included in readme.txt, you can do whatever with them, just credit me as original creator. The reason they're links is because they were made in ultraabox.github.io. In regards to the art assets, do whatever with them; it's barely spicy programmer art. I don't want the game reuploaded without my permission, so ask first, and I'll probably refuse, but I won't say it in a mean way.
Font: "Minimal3x5" by kheftel is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported.
CRT Shader/Filter: "Godot 3 2D CRT Shader" by hiulit is licensed under MIT License. (Furthermore, the license is included in the readme.txt.) It has been modified to function as a vignette shader/filter.
P.S.S. (Post Scripathy Society)
I nearly haven't tested the Windows version except briefly through Wine, so here's hoping it works. I haven't tested the Mac version.
